2023: Why Worked Against Atiku — Fayose

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has disclosed that he worked against his party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the February 25, 2023 election.
Fayose, who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), revealed that he worked against Atiku “100%” because the “PDP has not been fair to me”.
The PDP stalwart said he worked for the victory of the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, in Ekiti in the last general elections.
“I never worked for PDP during the last election. I cannot work for two people at the same time,” he said on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics programme.
“The reality is that I worked for Asiwaju (Tinubu). He is a respectable person from the South-West. It is the time of the South.”

However, In another development, The Senior Pastor and Founder of The Covenant Nation, Pastor Poju Oyemade, has come under heavy criticism online over a controversial tweet asking Nigerians to move with the outcome of the 2023 election that produced Bola Tinubu as president.
He tweeted: “For everyone who loves Nigeria, you want the country to win regardless of who is playing. Just like you want your favorite team to win the trophy even if the coach didn’t field your preferred players, when your team scores you are happy. Let’s stay focus it’s all about the country winning”
Pastor Poju Oyemade is blocking people because they are calling out his sermon, which encourages Believers to accept CORRUPTION or MANIPULATION and move on like nothing happened.
This is not the same pastor i encouraged others to listen to.
