Nigerian land borders will be reopen Soon – Buhari

The federal government of Nigeria has revealed that it will reopen all it closed land borders very soon
Speaking earlier on Tuesday,Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari, noted that the land borders of the country were closed to control the smuggling of weapons and drugs.
Buhari therefore called on the state governors to work more with traditional rulers and community members to improve local intelligence gathering that will aid the work of security agencies.
After the meeting, he tweeted:
“In my meeting with State Governors today I explained that the closure of Nigeria’s land borders was partly an attempt to control the smuggling in of weapons & drugs. Now that the message has sunk in with our neighbours, we’re looking into reopening the borders as soon as possible”
