Buhari Vows To Take Drastic Action On Against Insecurity In Nigeria
President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to all Nigerian that there will be a substantial development in the security architect of the country soon.
The president of the country made this statement via his official twitter handle on Monday 11th of August.
President Buhari stated that despite challenges including insecurity, unemployment, COVID-19 pandemic, the country has remained strong and vibrant in all forms.

We are working very hard to ensure the security situation in every part of Nigeria improves very soon. As part of our efforts, we are investing heavily in acquiring modern equipment. Some have arrived, some are being cleared at the Ports, and we have others still on their way.

However, there is every tendency that President Buhari might likely overhaul the counter-insurgency operation in Borno and other parts of the North-Eastern part of the country.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with members of the Nigeria Governors Forum Security Council and Service Chiefs at the Council Chambers in Aso Rock, Abuja.
The meeting also has Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, the National Security Adviser (NSA) Major General Babagana Monguno (retd), the Chief of Staff to the President Prof Ibrahim Gambari and Heads of other security agencies in attendance.
