 Buhari Must Declare National Emergency On Ritual Killings – Reps

President Muhammadu Buhari has been asked to declare a national emergency on ritual killings across the country.

BGT News Understands that the House of Representatives made the call during its plenary on Wednesday.

The development was part of the resolutions reached by the lawmakers on a motion of urgent public importance entitled ‘Need to Curb the Rising Trend of Ritual Killings in Nigeria’. (Source : Naija News)

 

2023: We Must Rescue Nigeria from Buhari – Ex-Govs, Former Senate Presidents Declares

One hundred political and thought leaders including 14 current governors, 13 former governors as well as three former Senate Presidents have met in Lagos to ‘rescue Nigeria’ and map a new consensus for national rebirth.

The leaders, under the aegis of ‘The 2022 Committee’, said Nigeria must be secured, peaceful and united before the nation can have candidates for political offices in 2023.This was made known in a statement released on Wednesday .

 Import Of Adulterated Petrol will be Investigated – Buhari’s Govt

The Muhammadu Buhari-led government has announced its decision to investigate the import and supply of adulterated Premium Motor Spirit also known as Petrol.

Naija News reports that since Monday, fuel scarcity hit some major cities like Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan and other places due to contaminated petrol products in circulation.

On Tuesday, the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) confirmed that adulterated petrol with methanol quantities above the country’s specification was discovered in the supply chain.
