Betta Edu Denied Meeting With President Tinubu.
The Embattled Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu was denied access to President Bola Tinubu at the Villa.
After her suspension She was ferried out of the Villa when it was impossible to meet with the President.
Bgt News had ealrier reported that The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has summoned Betta Edu, the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, to its Abuja headquarters over an alleged N585 million fraud.
According to BGT News, Edu was invited to the anti-graft agency’s headquarters’ after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu issued an executive order for her suspension and an inquiry. An EFCC agent stated in a Daily Trust interview that she had already received an official invitation from the commission to address some matters concerning her ministry.
He added that the President had ordered an ongoing inquiry, and that the EFCC had already recommended the minister’s urgent suspension.
